The curved antenna full 3D printing technology developed by the research team of Dalian University of Technology has been successfully applied to drone camera modules, achieving ultra-thin integrated antenna and module skin. The antenna uses fluorinated poly (arylene ether) photopolymerization resin as the substrate, combined with 3D printed conductive metal radiators, with a thickness of only 0.8 millimeters and a weight reduction of 70% compared to traditional antennas, perfectly meeting the lightweight requirements of drones.
The technical team has optimized the molecular structure design to reduce the electromagnetic loss of the substrate to 0.002, resulting in an antenna signal transmission efficiency of over 95% and doubling the gain compared to traditional products. In the test at the Pucheng Flight Test Center in Shaanxi Province, the camera module equipped with this antenna can stably transmit 4K image quality within a 50 kilometer line of sight, with a signal interruption rate of less than 0.1%. It has been verified by China Electronics Technology Group and widely used in drone security and exploration scenarios.
