The high permeability magnetic substrate technology developed by Deng Longjiang's team at Chengdu University of Electronic Science and Technology has been successfully applied to the new POS NFC antenna, compressing the antenna thickness to 30 microns, which is only one-third of the traditional design, and increasing the card reading distance to 8 centimeters. This black ceramic substrate material has high magnetic permeability and excellent impedance matching, which can guide electromagnetic waves to form a dedicated transmission channel inside the metal dense POS machine, avoiding absorption and reflection by components.
The antenna is integrated into the POS top panel using printed coil technology, coupled with optimized matching circuits, achieving a radiation efficiency of 85% in the 13.56MHz frequency band. Actual testing shows that the success rate of reading bank cards and mobile NFC is 99.7%, and it can still recognize stably even when POS machines come into contact with metal cash registers; In mass production, the magnetic substrate can support the daily demand of 600000 devices and has entered the supply chains of companies such as Huawei and Meizu.
